I don’t normally talk about the storytelling in particular but this page of Moon Hunters hit all the right notes with me. I gotta say too, the fourth panel, where Lyria turns her head just had that right bit of emotion for me. My only regret is the WHAM on panel one felt a bit forced and I wish I had planned for it better.

Moon Hunters: Tales of the River Folk is a fantasy comic written and illustrated by Matthew Childers. It tells the story of a young headstrong Hornling girl named Lyria, whose misadventures put her people in grave peril and her quest to right her wrongs and protect her fellow River Folk.
