Lothar Bent-Horn isn’t the most skilled warrior in the kingdom, nor is he the most skilled tracker. But few are born in the land of the Riverfolk with the abilities to harness magic and Lothar, despite his lesser skills, has an aptitude with the mystic arts. His magical skills are tied closely with nature, allowing him access to the elements as well as the ability to shift his shape and peer through the eyes of the animals themselves.

It is also said Lothar has the ability to speak to many of the creatures in the land of the River Folk and some say he has a natural kinship and running dialogue with many of the more civilized beasts that roam the lower delta.
