Thesia One-Spike is not only Lyria’s mother but also commander and teacher of all Moon Hunters in the lands of the River Folk. There is no more skilled and experienced a warrior in the entire land.  Although she may appear cold and callous she cares deeply for her people. Unlike her daughter who is wild, eager, and yearning for adventure Thesia is pragmatic, careful and cautious.

Legend says that Thesia is unrivaled with a sword. In her youth she helped defend the eastern borders of the River Folk lands from an invasion of Golath. It is said that Thesia alone felled over three hundred of their number creating a wall of enemies that turned the tide and saved the entire land from being overrun.
